The Month of Love is Here!

Its February, I was writing in my journal this morning about how much I love this month! Not just cause it happens to be my birthday month! =) But I love valenties day and always have, I love that spring is starting to warm the air and I just love the month. Not sure all the reasons actually I just do. I will be 24 on the 11th and Jeremy will be 25 on the 17th, I am getting old!

I had a Doctor's apt this morning and left so thankful for my Dr. As many of you have heard me blog about it, it was a hard process to lay down my desire for a home birth and meet in the middle with what Jeremy was comfortable with. Which brought us to the hospital, but I chose a Dr. who I knew would understand and respect where I was coming from but who also was excellent at what he does. I could not be happier. Don't get me wrong, I still have days where I get sad thinking I won't have that amazing perfect home birth this time. But I know God will honor me trying to honor my husband and his wishes and most days I could not be happier about it. My Dr. is a Godly man who is so wise yet has a fun sense of humor. Jeremy went with me today to meet him and really liked him which I was so glad about. I felt the apt today feeling kinda scolded, because I am not getting enough calories and he doesn't like that. So my goal between now and when I got back is to add some GOOD calories to my daily diet and hopefully I will feel better doing that too.

I am 27 weeks and 4 days! On Thursday I start my 3rd trimester, amazing! I am measuring 30 which 2 either side of your weeks is normal and he made a comment today about getting a good start of that 10 pound baby I am going to have! I am all for a big healthy baby but please not 10 pounds! She still does not have a name...we will see how long this lasts. There is a good chance she will not have a name till she is born! Ok, so that's all that's new and exciting these days. Now off to nap time...my favorite time of the day (besides bed time)!

  1. Just want to say as a word of encouragement (hopefully) that I had a wonderful experience at the hospital when I gave birth to Ivory. Much better then I expected. Anyways, hope yours goes amazingly! Love ya, girl!

  2. I did the same thing, doing a first birth in the hospital for everyone's comfort. It was a great birth and will be for you too, especially with everything you know to do and not do. And then you were there for the great home birth the second time. Just know you'll have that to look forward to after all goes beautifully this time! You are very wise to listen to your husband, find a great doctor, and just enjoy!
