September is here! Fall seems to be upon us in many ways and I love it! Fall comes much earlier here in NY then in TX and I don't mind that at all because fall is by far my favorite time of year! I love the colors, the foods, the leaves blowing, working outside and all the fresh produce everywhere! It seems to me to be refreshing season or relaxation and rest in so many ways. I think back to last fall and I was planning my wedding! I got to have my wedding in the Fall which was a dream come true for me. Its hard to believe it was a year ago yet it seems like such a distance memory now! How life has changed from the fall of 2007 to the fall of 2008. I have a new name live in a new state and am now expecting a child! =) Alot more changes then I expected in 1 year yet I could not be happier! I am 6 weeks pregnant and due May 1st! Some other change that is fall is bringing us is another move. We are moving to Texas. Of course I am thrilled to be moving back "home" and to be by my family and friends and even more so now that we have a baby coming! Its bittersweet though, I love NY and my family here! I am going to miss the people and so much about this place. We will visit often I am sure!
My days seem so full right now yet I know this is the slowest life is going to be for a while! Once we do a cross country move then prepare for a baby then have a baby well I know that life will never slow down too much! I am looking forward to that though, a purpose to being busy. A reason to be tired and get less sleep at night. I would take that any day over just being sleepy cause I watched a movie till too late!
Happy fall everyone! Hope this season is refreshing for you as it seems to be for me!
The Chronicles of our little family as we journey through life, striving to live simply and as God intended.

change..change...change!
Change seems to be the hot subject these days! Everything around me and everyone seems to be adjusting or preparing to adjust to a new situation, a move, a baby, a loss. The things that are near and dear to me are changing and some are wonderful yet I am nervous about what it will look like. My sister Priscilla leaves on Friday for Taiwan for 1 year to teach English! I could not be more excited for her and thrilled for the adventure she has ahead yet massive open spot she will leave in my family. I don't even see her but a couple times a year and talk to her on the phone maybe once a week yet i still am going to miss her. But like I said its all good change! I am so proud of her for pursuing her dreams and following where God leads. I know she will truly have the time of her life!
A dear family friend back in TX passed away yesterday, she had battled an illness for several years. She was around my parents age and had kids my age. I rarely wonder "why" God and her death in one of those times that makes me wonder "why God". She was a dear lady, a Godly mother and wife and even though I did not know her well she will be missed.
Jeremy and I are continuing to walk this road God has us on and again it is looking different then we thought it would. We are all up for an adventure though! God has made Himself known to us in new ways and we stand amazed at His faithfulness. It will be a year next week that he asked me to be his wife. A day that changed both of our lives forever. And what an amazing year or preparing to be his wife, then becoming his bride. God has been so faithful. Not to say that this transition has been without some rough spots. We each have times where we hit rock bottom and wonder how this situation is ever going to change. But thankfully we serve a God who regardless of our weakness still is faithful. And he has constantly been pushing us forward sometimes with our feet dragging in resistance and sometimes with us running ahead. We could use your prayers as we make this transition and settle into what God has called us to do and where God has called us to be. Cause that is the only place we want to be.

"I'll show up and take care of you as I promised and bring you back home. I know what I'm doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for. When you call on me, when you come and pray to me, I'll listen. When you come looking for me, you'll find me. Yes, when you get serious about finding me and want it more than anything else, I'll make sure you won't be disappointed. I'll turn things around for you."
Jeremiah 19:11-13 (Message Bible)
Today has been one of those days where I needed to open my bible and have God speak to me, and this is what I read! What a faithful God I serve! I started reading this and tears came to my eyes because it is so true! He NEVER fails us or forsakes us. I often forget how much bigger God's plans are for me then my own plans are for me. How much greater they are then anything I could imagine!. It takes me being desperate enough and sadly sometimes I have to have days like today where I am at the end of myself before I truly fall on the rock that is ever faithful.

Six Month Anniversary!
Yesterday we celebrated 6 months of marriage!! We had such a fun night, Jeremy planned the evening and we went to dinner and had amazing Italian food then went to downtown and watch the sunset at high falls then to get coffee and dessert then home for a movie. What a fun adventure these last 6 months have been!

"I have been blessed with so much more then I deserve..I thank God for all I've been given at the end of every day..I have been blessed"

It's Monday again, I am always amazed how fast Monday comes around! We had a wonderful crazy weekend. Mother's day was sweet although hard for me to not be with my Mom but we spent the afternoon with the Tallo's and enjoyed a nice relaxing day. Last night we got on SKYPE (those of you not familiar with sypke its an online phone/video chat) and I was able to talk and see my mom and family and they were able to see me and we had a great chat. I love seeing there faces and getting updates from all the kids. Mom would keep trying to talk as the little boys are making every face they can come up with to the camera. It reminded me how life is never boring there! Saturday our church did a mother's day tea that I was kinda running and it took up much of Friday and Sat but we pulled it off thanks for tons of great help and it went very well. I was happy with it as were most the women I think.
God is stretching and growing both of us and forcing us to step out of our comfort zone in some areas and to learn to trust more then ever. I did not think the day I married my husband I could love him anymore yet I find myself daily falling more and more in love with him. I amd such a blessed girl! =) Last week I worked later then he did and so he said he would cook dinner and I came home to a candle light dinner all prepared and ready for me! I tell you I am blessed! I think I have the best man in the world!!
